Team Notes

  • Hannah Grisham made history by becoming the first female to earn the overall pole position in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge in more than 20 years. She also set the fastest GS qualifying lap at Watkins Glen since 2019.

  • Just 20 minutes into the two-hour race, Grisham had built a lead of more than one second over the rest of the GS field. She remained out front for the entirety of her opening stint, leading the first 20 laps before handing the No. 26 Vantage over to Greenemeier.

  • Following the first round of pit stops, Greenemeier cycled back into second place. With 40 minutes remaining, she returned to pit lane for four tires and fuel, but a slower stop dropped the No. 26 Vantage to sixth.

  • Greenemeier had worked her way up to fifth when the race's first full-course caution was called with just 12 minutes to go. The race restarted with a two-lap sprint to the finish, where she brought the No. 26 Vantage home in sixth.

Chatting with the drivers…

Hannah Grisham: “A really great race today! The entire team did an amazing job, and we took away some really valuable championship points, which is awesome. I started the race from pole, which was super exciting–my first time doing that. My stint was very straightforward, and everything went to plan. We had a full green-flag stint, and I focused on building as much of a gap as I could while doing a bit of fuel saving. Then Hannah got in the car for the rest of the race and did an amazing job. We came home in P6, and there’s a lot to take away from this weekend, but it’s definitely a positive step forward. We’re heading to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park with a lot of momentum, and I’m really excited to keep building on this as a team.”
