Team Notes

• The first 30 minutes were under caution due to an incident on the first lap, taking eight GS cars out of the 33-car field. Unfortunately, Greenemeier sustained damage to the right rear of the car, which led to a longer-than-planned first pit stop.

• Grisham took over the No. 26 Aston Martin Vantage with an hour and nine minutes remaining after a second caution slowed the field.

• With just 20 minutes remaining in the two-hour race, the No. 26 Aston Martin Vantage lost power, and Grisham was unable to finish the race, resulting in a 17th-place finish.

Hannah Grisham : “Though the weekend didn’t finish quite how we wanted it to, I think there are positives to take away. We had a really strong pace in the race and had quick pit stops. It’s unfortunate that we lost power there towards the end. We will take a positive step away and prove that we can compete towards the pointy end of the field. I’m looking forward to the rest of the season and improving as a team.”

Hannah Greenemeier : “Overall, I think it was a positive weekend with pace and the feeling of the car. Ultimately, we didn’t get the results we wanted, but that was beyond our control. The start of the race was really hectic, and I hope everyone who was involved in the incident is okay. I didn’t really get too many green flag laps in my stint, but I tried to make the most of the laps that I had. Hannah did a great job making her way back up through the field, but a mechanical gremlin didn’t let us finish. I know the team will get it figured out, and we’ll be back at Laguna Seca fighting and ready to go. We know we have the pace now, we just have to show it. Thank you to the Heart of Racing Team. I really appreciate all they do for us.”
