Team Notes

  • Driver Rotation : Greenemeier to Grisham

  • Greenemeier quickly made her way to ninth after starting from 15th within the first pit cycle.

  • Greenemeier had worked her way to second when she was called down pit lane for a driver change to Grisham.

  • The first caution came out with an hour and 35 minutes remaining, placing the field back on the same strategy. Grisham came down pit lane during the caution for fuel and left-side tires, restarting from third.

  • With under 30 minutes remaining, Grisham encountered a brake issue, forcing her from the front of the field to 12th, where she finished the four-hour race.

Chatting with the drivers…

Hannah Grisham: “Everyone executed flawlessly from start to finish, with excellent pit stops, strong strategy calls, and great preparation throughout the event. Hannah Greenemeier did an outstanding job in the opening stint, laying a solid foundation for us to build on. The car was fast, and the team put us in a position to fight for a great result.

My stint started strong, but a couple of miscalculations on my part and some brake issues toward the end set us back and cost us valuable track position. This weekend provided valuable lessons, particularly in racecraft and decision-making, and I'll use that experience to come back stronger next time.

A huge thank you to the entire team for their hard work and execution all weekend long. While a 12th-place finish isn't the result we were aiming for, I'm proud of the effort from everyone involved and confident we'll build on it moving forward.”

Hannah Greenemeier: “It was a good race overall in Mid-Ohio; the car felt really good and progressively got better throughout practices and qualifying into the race. I had fun saving fuel during my stints, and Grisham did a great job pushing to the finish. The team did an amazing job on pit stops and strategy. I’m super proud of the progress we have made as a team since Daytona, and I know we'll keep getting stronger. A huge thank you to The Heart of Racing for this opportunity and to all the crew for their help. A special thank you to Phil and Nate for coming over from the GTD squad and helping us with engineering. I can’t wait to get to Watkins!”
