Elkhart Lake, Wisc. (August 11, 2025) - The Heart of Racing will head back to Road America for a second time in August after competing at the famous Wisconsin circuit in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship earlier in the month. This weekend, the team will hit the track with SRO America fielding entries in both GT World Challenge America and Pirelli GT4 America.

Darren Turner and Gray Newell are hoping to continue building their podium streak after scoring their first two podium finishes of the season (second and third) at VIRginia International Raceway in July. The duo will team up in the No. 24 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3.

Turner will make his return to the 4.048 mile track after 19 years. The Brit last raced in Wisconsin in 2006 in the American Le Mans Series where he finished third in an Aston Martin in the GT1 class. Newell returns to Road America after securing wins in Pirelli GT4 America in 2023 and 2024 alongside teammate Roman De Angelis in the Pro-Am category.

“VIR went incredibly well with two podiums and our best results of the season,” said Turner. “Superb strategy from the team in race one and a mighty stint by Gray in race two. We just need to carry the momentum through to Road America and keep efforts to get on the top step of the podium. It will be an interesting weekend with the introduction of the new spec Pirelli tire and with that, who will get on top of the tire change first.”

Hannah Grisham and Hannah Greenemeier will be back behind the wheel of the No. 26 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT4. After a tough weekend at VIR last month, “The Hannahs” hope to turn around their luck this weekend at Road America.

Last season the pair secured their first Pirelli GT4 America Silver class podium finish at Road America after crossing the finish line in third.

“VIR was a learning weekend for us,” said Grisham. “We’re looking to secure some strong points for the championship this coming weekend. I’m really excited for Road America as it is one of my personal favorite tracks that we visit this year. I’m looking forward to being back with the team and hopefully walking away with some strong results.”

“I’m looking forward to getting back at it after a tough VIR weekend,” said Greenemeier. “Last year Hannah and I got our first Silver class podium there so hopefully that positive result from last year carries into this weekend. It will be an interesting weekend with the introduction of the new Pirelli tire. I know everyone on the team will be giving their all to make sure we have a successful weekend.”

The Heart of Racing team will be on track with practice starting Friday before qualifying and race one on Saturday. GT World Challenge will take the green flag first on Saturday at 4:15pm ET live on YouTube.com/GTWorld. Pirelli GT4 America will follow with a  6:00pm ET start time, then on Sunday the GT4 America will take the green flag first at 12:25pm ET. To finish the weekend, GT World Challenge America will start at 3:45pm ET.
