Chatting with the drivers…

Hannah Grisham : “It was a good first stint in the Michelin Pilot Challenge. I was able to take the start and everything was pretty calm. The whole goal for me was to keep the car clean and hand it over to my teammates. I was able to save a bit of fuel in the first stint and ended up with a really good pit stop going from tenth to third. In my second stint I saw more yellows coming out which made things a bit more interesting with strategy. Overall we finished 11th with the car in one piece. We all had a great time and had fun while doing so. I’m excited to learn and continue to grow with this team.”

Hannah Greenemeier : “It was definitely a little hectic out there with full course yellows and with the restarts. Overall I had a lot of fun racing with Hannah and Mike. Everybody did a great job the entire week. Unfortunately during my stint, I was sandwiched between two cars and got the lesser end of the deal, resulting in a spin. It’s such an amazing opportunity to race in the Michelin Pilot Challenge this year and I’m looking forward to the rest of the year!”

Mike David Ortmann : “It was a great first time with The Heart of Racing here in the Michelin Pilot Challenge with the Hannahs. I’m pretty happy with what we achieved. Unfortunately we did get spun in the race, which cost us a bit of track position. I just tried to maximize our package there at the end. Everyone on the team did a perfect job, no penalties, no mistakes, so I think we were able to secure a good amount of points. I think the team is happy and I’m happy to be a part of the Heart of Racing family.”

Upcoming Race

Hannah Grisham and Hannah Greenemeier will be back behind the wheel of the No. 26 Aston Martin Vantage March 18-20th at Sebring International Raceway for a two-hour race ahead of the IMSA WeatherTech’s Sebring 12 Hours.
