The Heart of Racing heads to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the penultimate round of the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The No. 27 Vantage enters the weekend third in the GTD championship standings and is looking to close the gap.
The Indianapolis weekend also holds special meaning for the team, as the No. 23 Valkyrie and No. 27 Vantage carry Resilient Racers Landon and Kasey with them throughout the event.
The Valkyrie heads to Indianapolis following a fifth-place finish at Road America, its best result of the season.
The No. 27 Vantage has led 421 laps and earned three podium finishes this season. This weekend, the team hopes to convert that consistent pace into its first victory of the year.
The No. 26 Vantage looks to continue building momentum after running in podium contention for much of the race at VIRginia International Raceway.

Indianapolis is a circuit that holds a significant amount of history and always creates entertaining races. The Aston Martin THOR team have been going from strength to strength recently, and we want to secure our first podium of the season after losing it post-race at Road America.”
Roman De Angelis: “Indianapolis is always an event that I look forward to because of its place in American motorsport history. Indy was quite a strong track for us last year even if the results didn’t match the potential. I’m very much looking forward to hopefully closing off the year with a few more great results and carrying the momentum from Road America onwards.”

Indy has historically been a good track for me, so I’m hoping we can bring some of that momentum this weekend and put together a strong result with The Heart of Racing.”
Hannah Greenemeier: “I’m looking forward to getting back on track at Indy. The team has had strong forward momentum over the past few races, and I feel we are looking to keep it going. VIR looked to be a podium until the last few minutes, so now we will try to get it here in Indy. The car has been good here in the past with SRO, and based on this season, it feels even better on the Michelin tires. I’m looking forward to getting out there and seeing what we have. Thanks to the whole Heart of Racing Team for their hard work and for the opportunity to drive with them.
