Team Notes

  • The Heart of Racing will make its first appearance at Autodromo Nazionale Monza for the final round of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship season, November 6–8. Known as the “Temple of Speed,” the Italian circuit will provide the team with one final six-hour challenge to close out the season.

  • The 6 Hours of Monza marks the team’s second visit to Italy this season, following the season-opening 6 Hours of Imola in April.

  • The No. 007 and No. 009 Aston Martin Valkyries will look to close their 2026 campaign on a high at Monza. The No. 007 earned a season-best fourth-place finish at Circuit of the Americas and Spa-Francorchamps, while the No. 009 scored points at the most recent round in Barcelona with a ninth-place finish.

  • In LMGT3, the No. 23 Aston Martin Vantage enters the finale following a season that included a runner-up finish at Spa-Francorchamps and the team’s first 24 Hours of Le Mans podium, where the entry finished third.

  • The No. 27 Aston Martin Vantage crew will look to return to the podium after a challenging race in Barcelona. The entry earned its first victory of the season at Circuit of the Americas before finishing second at Fuji.

  • Monza will be a home race for Italian driver Mattia Drudi, who shares the No. 27 Vantage with Ian James and Zacharie Robichon.

Chatting with the drivers…

Harry Tincknell: “Monza is one of the tracks we have tested at this year and that went well. It’s one of those legendary motorsport venues, and it should be good for the Valkyrie: it’s super high-speed and has big braking zones. We are all keen to end the year on a high. We’ve had a couple of non-scores recently, and we want to reverse that trend and end the season well. I think we can do it. Despite Barcelona not being a circuit that suited us, the car was still nearly in Hyperpole and still scored some points, so there are positives to take away from that.”
